Less than 100 days until this year’s Open at Royal Portrush

The R&A recently announced that additional tickets for The 148th Open will go on sale on 15th April in an attempt to satisfy the massive demand from golf fans to be part of this memorable week. Championship Days sold out in record time, so don’t miss out on your chance to see your favourite golfers in action this time around!

After watching the world’s elite golfers battle it out to be crowned Championship Golfer of The Year, we urge you to delight in our fine dining Restaurant. Famed for our use of fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced produce, we really do let our dishes do the talking. Pair your delicious food with a delightful bottle of wine or a whiskey flight and enjoy the summer sunset with some al fresco drinks on our patio. There is limited availability due to the high demand during The Open Week, so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Watching all the exciting action of The Open is thirsty work. Luckily, at The Bushmills Inn, our historic Gas Bar offers the perfect location to whet your whistle after the final putt. With birdie-worthy cocktails, such as the classic Old Fashioned to our signature Bombay Bramble, we’ll have more than enough to quench your thirst. Take a trip back in time 

Since 1947, Royal Portrush Golf Club has played host to many of the UK's most prestigious golf tournaments, including the first Open Championship to be played outside of mainland UK in 1951. In the run-up to The Open Week, The Bushmills Inn are giving you the chance to experience some of this rich history for yourself, showcasing some of golf’s most prized memorabilia which is on display for the first time in Northern Ireland:
 
  • Original 1947 Irish Open Official Programme and scorecards signed by winner Fred Daly
  • Original 1951 Open Golf Championship Official Programmes, from the Practice Days through to the Championship Days
  • Original 1960 Amateur Championship Official Programme
